Taytum Cox
Principal Teacher – Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Exam
Taytum is the founder, director and principal of Pure Beat Dance Studio, she has been involved in dance since the age of three, learning and performing in various dance styles including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary and Hip Hop. She has received her Teachers Certificate under, The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (C.S.T.D.) syllabus, which is nationally accredited; has a certificate IV in Commercial Dance, through Gravity Dance Studio .Aside from teaching she works as a Professional dancer through Essential Talent Agency and Ding productions performing at corporate events, music festivals and private functions as well as being an independent freelance dancer for Chunky Custard and Hyperdance. Taytum continues to update and expand her performing arts knowledge by attending and participating in teachers’ workshops and professional development courses.
Rosalind Stafford
Jazz, Hip Hop and Contemporary
Rosalind was an original student of Pure Beat Dance Studio back in 2009 and she has never looked back, she has been involved in the PBDS Family and community for the past 11 years. With over 10 years of experience training, developing and performing in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Contemporary she is an asset to have at the studio. Rosalind still undertakes classes and exam work under the CSTD to continually improve her craft and her performance and stage presence. Rosalind is a fun and bubbly teacher with a huge passion in developing confidence and individual creativity in her students, she is always encouraging and believes that one of the biggest joys that comes from teaching is witnessing the tremendous growth and improvement that students explore throughout the year.
